The school conducts a pre-BMI measure of all students and a post-BMI measure of all students. Measurements conducted by healthcare professionals, student data coded for confidentiality.
The school conducts fitness assessment (FITNESSGRAM)? on an annual basis on all students.
PTA / Athletics / Booster Clubs / Vending
PTA / PTSA / Booster Club efforts are made to limit fundraising to non-food products. If food products are sold, the products meet the minimum standards set-forth in the USHealthier School Challenge Bronze Level criteria.
All athletic events offer healthy options that are in compliance with the USHealthier School challenge Bronze Level criteria. NOTE: This does not state nor imply that healthy options must be the only things offered, but must be offered as an option.
At all athetic events, healthy options are offered that are in compliance with the Silver Level criteria of the USSHC. This does not state nor imply that healthy options must be the only things offered, but must be offered as an option.
